Back blogging from your bedside, that has to be good news.Just as summer resumes in th UK!
I hope my message reached via Lyndsey.
The two boxes arrived safely.
Just listen to those caring for you please.
Sue and I are just back from Madrid and got Henry’s e-mail. What bad luck! We both hope that you are on the mend and hope that the damage is not too severe…..at least you chose a good spot to be needing a hospital. It could have been in the deepest Outback miles from decent facilities. Knowing you I expect you will take the opportunity to learn Cantonese or something! Your brain is never idle.
Best wishes to Henry and Prunella. Hopefully we shall see you home soon. R & S
James delighted to hear that you are able to communicate with the world outside HK. Also that you are now on the mend. Do please take all the advice given by the medical team and we all look forward to your return to the UK when safe to do so. Please behave yourself as some of those Chinese nurses can look very attractive. Best wishes Robin
Dear dear James. Adam and I are thinking of you. What terribly bad luck. But Hong Kong I am sure is the best place to be in the circumstances rather than where you could have landed up. Take care, let the Doctors get you better and wish we could all arrive at your bedside (all 7 sisters I mean!). That would cause a sensation. We could arrange an Art Exhibition at the same time. We could set up our easels in your room and use you as a life model! Would it could be so. Seriously though our thoughts are with you. Lots of love Annabel and Adam
Dear James, Nick and I were horrified to hear of your illness. What incredibly, incredibly bad luck – but again a good idea to land up in Hong Kong with its excellent facilities. We do hope you recover fast and can get home. Your London house sounds lovely, and we are all endeavouring to keep up Prunella’s spirits. Best wishes from Nick and Lavinia
Dear James – What rotten luck. Pethy and I are so sorry, but gather you are on the mend. Hopefully getting bored which is always a good sign! I hope Pula will be a good nurse and cook you nourishing meals when you get back. You might even make my party on 8th June!! lots love Olivia
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife in 2007 and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, football, horses, food, dogs, computers and family, that are some of the other things that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, I still suffer.
