Not Big Sellers

If I want to get rid of anything that might be useful to someone, I just put it on the front patio with a note saying it’s alright to take it. But not these lights!

A Box of Useless Lights

They’re obviously too awful for even the grottiest cellar, attic or garden shed. They were of course installed in this house by Jerry, who never missed a chsnce to use crap, where quality was specified.

Although I must say someone did rumage through and take all  the tungsten light bulbs.

  1. James,

I have used a scheme called Freecycle to recycle all sorts of things from my house.
Look for it on the net…there are branches all over the world…and bound to be several in the London area.

I have disposed of…china, glasswear, curtains, a single bed, computer desk….etc etc. Have seen other things on the freecycle..tomato plants…top soil, wood for burning etc etc…
    Give it a go….

Yesterday my glazier came to measure a pane, where the sealing had gone and left with a great pile of old shelving. Hackney Council also has a surplus furniture scheme which many use.
